Job Purpose Summary

The deltatre Technical Academy is a one-year training programme for graduates in a technology-related discipline who are passionate about technology and technical innovation.

As part of our digital web development team, you'll learn and work on cutting-edge technology. Our aim is for you to be a competent developer at the end of the programme, able to work on new products to be enjoyed by millions of sports fans worldwide.

From day one you'll work on state-of-the-art digital solutions for our high-profile clients and we will provide all the support, training, and tools you need to excel.

We have our Trainee Developers working in pairs. You'll be fast-tracked through a series of modules and will get full exposure to full-stack development, testing, requirement gathering and architecture across our product range and suite of services.

Under the guidance of one of our Technical Leaders, your training will cover the whole development life cycle. Our products span web, mobile and OTT development, video streaming, and cloud computing, so there's real variety.

To give you a taste of what you'll learn, our technologies include Native, React, Universal JS, Webpack, ES6, Redux, AngularJS, Angular 2, NodeJS, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Git, JWT/OAuth, Sass, SVG and GSAP,C# and Microsoft .NET (including .NET CORE 2.0), Azure for Cloud computing, CI/CD with TFS, SQL Server and Mongo DB for No SQL solutions.

Person Specification

Degree: Minimum grade of 2:1 in any subject area

An enthusiasm for technology and technical innovation demonstrated through your studies and personal projects

Soft Skills You will need well developed soft skills, and these include:

  • An analytical / logical approach
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Team working skills
